You may wonder why you would need your own condo insurance policy.

While your Condominium Corporation’s policy will insure loss or damage to the building, your personal condo policy would provide protection for your own belongings, appliances and fixtures.  Condo policies also include coverage for personal liability anywhere in the world in the event that you are held legally liable for someone else’s bodily injury or property damage. 

Policies also include coverage for Betterments & Improvements, Loss Assessment and Contingent Liability.
